Strict Quality Control: Qiaomusen Furniture Group's Measures for Handling Non-Conforming Products

In the rigorous quality inspection process, once a product that does not meet the standards is found, Qiaomusen Furniture Group always adheres to a "zero tolerance" attitude, taking targeted measures based on the stage and severity of the problem to ensure that no unqualified product reaches the market.
At the raw material warehousing inspection stage, if issues such as excessive formaldehyde content in boards or substandard temperature resistance of plastic parts are found, this batch of raw materials will be directly deemed "unqualified" and a return mechanism will be initiated. Meanwhile, the procurement department will place the supplier on a key watch list, and future cooperation will require re-evaluation of their qualifications; serious cases will lead to termination of cooperation. This measure prevents inferior materials from entering the production process from the source, ensuring the quality foundation of subsequent production. If problems are found during the "process quality inspection" in production, the handling methods are more flexible and focus on rectification efficiency. For example, if there is a cold weld at the furniture frame welding point, quality inspectors will immediately mark the problem location and report it to the production team, where professional welders will rework and re-weld. After re-welding, the product must pass quality inspection again before proceeding to the next process; if the coating process shows uneven coating, the product will be re-sanded and recoated until it meets the standards. For semi-finished products that cannot be repaired by rework, such as furniture frames with severe structural deformation, they will be dismantled and recycled, with reusable parts reprocessed to minimize waste. In the finished product "final inspection" stage, the handling of unqualified products is even stricter. If there are only minor, repairable appearance issues such as slight scratches, a specialized repair team will perform fine repairs, followed by a full inspection; only after passing can the product be shipped. If there are functional defects, such as office chair lift failure or drawer slide jamming, the product will be returned to the assembly workshop for disassembly and repair, replacing unqualified parts before reassembly and inspection. For serious quality issues, such as failure to meet environmental standards or structural safety hazards that cannot be repaired, the finished product will be scrapped directly. The quality inspection department will lead an analysis of the problem causes and produce a detailed report to feedback to production, R&D, and other related departments to promote process improvement and workflow optimization.
Moreover, regardless of the stage at which an unqualified product is found, Qiaomusen will initiate a "problem traceability" mechanism, tracing back through the product's quality inspection number to specific production teams, raw material batches, and other information to clarify responsibility. For stages with frequent issues, special training and technical problem-solving will be organized to fundamentally improve product quality stability.
